Hungarian health-care is outstanding with its state-of-the-art equipment and highly qualified medical professionals.

Practicing is legally regulated: registration at the Medical Chamber ensues upon the completion of the required exams, including not only a general medical university diploma but a speciality certificate as well, which is a prerequisite for a GP or dentist to go private or work without supervision in any national surgery.

Dentist therefore must adhere to very high standards. In addition to strict professional requirements, the EU standards also apply, which are taken very seriously indeed. The reason for Hungarian dental care being far less expensive than in the UK is the fact that wages and general costs of living are much lower here.
